Bloodywood is a Youtube channel that has been growing in popularity with their metal covers and diverse styles ranging from heavy takes on pop songs like “Rockstar” by Post Malone and “Humble” by Kendrick Lamar as well as folk music like “Ari Ari” and “Jee Veerey.” My personal favorite is their rendition of The Chainsmokers‘ “Closer.”
In some fairly huge news, the band will be taking the stage at Dong Open Air in Germany on July 11th – 13th. The lineup includes Alestorm, Steel Panther, Kataklysm, Gloryhammer, Insomnium, Battle Beast, Dog Eat Dog, Septicflesh, Deserted Fear, Dust Bolt, Wulfpack, Craving, Hideous Divinity, Storm Seeker, Impureza, Silver Talon, Rising Insane, Deathcode Society, and more.
Considering Bloodywood has been a duo for the most part in their YouTube videos, a live band needed to be formed to take their songs to the stage. You can check out the full lineup below:
Roshan Roy – Bass (top left)
Vishesh Singh – Drums (top middle)
Sarthak Pahwa – Dhol / Indian Percussion (top right)
Jayant Bhadula – Indian Vocals/Growls (bottom left)
