Interested in Experiencing “Synthetic Love” via Vietnamese & Chinese Modern Metalcore?

From Hanoi to Beijing, modern metal is flourishing.

Vietnamese melodic metalcore act Windrunner looks absolutely stunning in this new video. I’ve been following them for a decade now, and it’s been a wild journey – from their abrasive djent beginning to vocalist changes, an animated cyberpunk era, and their current clean sound.

“Synthetic Love” is veiled in sweetness, as vocalist Nam conveys melodies akin to Spiritbox. Yu Bai from Chinese group Life Awaits adds some primal screams atop the lush-core single, revealing a Make Them Suffer or Invent Animate duality. The track is also produced, mixed, and mastered by Tone Trung of Vietnamese nü-deathcore group Gai.
