From Santiago in Chile, The Grand Downfall is a bloody raw death metal project with Joaquín Lagos (guitar, vocals), Jorge Letelier (guitar), Felipe Rojas (bass), and Pablo Vega (drums). The band has just recently dropped their EP titled Versklavt.
You can now stream all six tracks from the EP, which showcase the band’s crusty and smoky take on death metal. While the crude production is noticeably abrasive, it without a doubt provokes nostalgia of the subgenre’s formative years. Check out Versklavt below.
