Bloodywood Concoct Empowering Folk Metal Fusion Jam in “Yaad” Music Video [India]

Bloodywood

Bloodywood is an Indian metal project known for their YouTube metal covers as well as unique originals. Some favorite covers include “Despacito” by Daddy Yankee, “Rockstar” by Post Malone, “Humble” by Kendrick Lamar, and “Closer” by The Chainsmokers as well as originals “Ari Ari” and “Jee Veerey.” More recently they been expanding to live shows including last year’s Wacken Open Air.

While you’re at home in quarantine, the project has cooked up a new single titled “Yaad.” As usual with their original compositions, we see Bloodywood fusing folk melodies with metallic musicalities in a very inspiring manner. Besides the sweet song and music video, the band has announced they partnered with the non-profit animal shelter and rescue organization Posh Foundation and used their profits from their recent tour and Patreon donations to purchase an animal ambulance van for the shelter.
