Without a doubt, Demonic Resurrection is easily the largest metal act to come out of India and was a huge defender of the genre since their formation in 2000. Throughout their career, they released five full-length albums and was notably featured in Sam Dunn’s Global Metal documentary. Their most recent album Dashavatar dropped in 2017 and conceptually revolved around the ten avatars of Vishnu.
To celebrate the band’s twentieth anniversary, they have just revealed an animated lyric video for the track “Buddha – The Teacher” off the aforementioned record. Normally encapsulating symphonic or blackened death metal, this latest material showed the group impressively executing a more modern and clean death metal style. For this song, a couple guest musicians are featured including vocals by Kaushik Ramachandran and Devang Shinde performing the tabla. Check out the video below.
