Drops of Heart is a Russian melodic death metal group consisting of Denis Fakhrislamov (vocals) Vadim Nizamov (guitar, bass, keys, vocals), Pavel Klimov (guitar), and Artem Gabbasov (drums). They formed back in 2008 and through many lineup changes, were able to put our a couple EPs and an LP.
The band recently announced their follow-up full-length studio album titled Stargazers, which will drop on July 22nd and feature both Richard Sjunnesson from Unguided and Bjorn Strid from Soilwork. The record’s first single, “Modern Madness,” unearths the group’s duality in an intense death metal execution in the vein of Amon Amarth or At the Gates fused with some very melodic moments as well.
