Anima Tempo Join the Experimental League of Prog Metallers in Stunning “Deceitful Idols” Lyric Video [Mexico]

Anima Tempo

Anima Tempo is a Mexican progressive metal act holding a lineup of Gian Granados (vocals, guitar), Dante Granados (guitar, synths), Daniel González (vocals, guitar), Pável Vanegas (bass), and Antonio Guerrero (drums). They formed in 2009 and later released their debut album Caged in Memories, mixed and mastered by Nick Sampson (Polyphia, Born of Osiris, Emmure).

Just recently, the group put out a single titled “Deceitful Idols” via Famined Records. With an emphasis on pushing stylistic boundaries, bands like Between the Buried and Me as well as Twelve Foot Ninja come to mind through jazzy interludes and bombastic dynamics. The piece also holds a djenty and synthy progcore foundation similar to Born of Osiris. Check out the lyric video for the new single below.
