Si Vis Pacem Brings Back the Good Ole’ Days of Groove-Driven Metal with a Deathcore Twist in “Ghetto” Music Video [Chile]

From Santiago in Chile, Si Vis Pacem is a groove metal/deathcore act consisting of Felipe ‘Hostil Ronin’ (vocals), Isaac ‘Lord’ (guitar), Danilo ‘Danorod’ (bass), and Rodrigo ‘Erre’ (drums). Recently, they dropped a self-titled three-track EP.

Off that release, “Ghetto” shows off the band’s filthy, yet delicious grooves. While the use of groove certainly has been shown in the deathcore subgenre, this is the first time I’ve heard it portrayed so presently and impactful. Check out the music video for the track below.
