Indian progcore act Demigod recently wrapped up their debut EP, Whiplash. They have been gradually releasing material from the four-track release with debut melodic metalcore single “Cure of my Sickness” and the proggier tracks “Whiplash Motif” and “Two Pillars.” Influences seemed to range from Born of Osiris and Make Them Suffer to Opeth and Dream Theater.
The final song to drop is titled “Black Rose Dying” and takes a more ethereal and atmospheric approach. Holding melodic commonalities on par with Erra, the piece proves that the band has a true sense of diversity. Check out the new single now below.
