With each new track revealed, we are becoming increasingly excited for Takatak‘s upcoming album. The Pakistani prog metal act plan to release their LP titled Acrophase this year.
More recently, they dropped the fifth single from that album. “Phantom” is a dynamic display of the group’s virtuosic and djent-tinged musicianship. On the surface, comparisons could be made to the progressive metalcore leanings of early Periphery, but the group hold a very ethereal element to their prog alike The Contortionist or the modern quirks of Haken.
