Indian vocalist Narendra Patel and guitarist / bassist Harsh Makwana are joined by Ukrainian drummer Viktor Lytvynov for the deathgroove project Eternal Returns. The Lamb of God-meets-Allegaeon trio aim their eyes forward towards their upcoming album titled Hunchback Hatred, releasing via Wormholedeath later this year.
Until then, Metal Has No Borders are honored to be exclusively premiering a track off the upcoming record.
Dating back to the 14th century, the Italian island of Poveglia served as a quarantine site, where ships would drop off diseased passengers, particularly those suffering from the infamous Bubonic Plague. Over the years, Poveglia transitioned from being a home for the infected to a destination for the mentally ill. A hospital built on the island was wrought with mistreatment, experiments, lobotomies, etc. With a rich history of disease and abuse, Poveglia Island nowadays is abandoned, yet occupied with many reports of paranormal hauntings.
“Ravenous Shores: Whispers of the Quarantine Island” explores the dark lore of the aforementioned Poveglia through modern Decapitated-level intensity. Feel the impact of the viciously burdened single by Eternal Returns below.
