One cannot deny the absolute growth of deathcore in recent years. Whitechapel‘s clean twist, the animalistic gutturals within Lorna Shore, or the technical and blackened direction from the likes of Shadow of Intent and Enterprise Earth. The latest entity to rise from the blackened deathcore wave is the Mexican act Deathmask, whom recently shared the stage with Carnifex.
Vocalists Bnj and Ben Duerr (Shadow of Intent) duel on the recent brutal offering, “Son ov Death.” The song was mixed and mastered by Buster Douglas Odeholm (Humanity’s Last Breath, Vildhjarta) and treated to a video filmed by Arak Bernal in Puebla, Mexico.
