Last year, the Polynesian folk-groove metallers Shepherds Reign were awarded the best folk metal album for their record, Ala Mai. Their mix of Alien Weaponry-like regional influence with metalcore and groove made for a compelling overall release.
Running off the momentum of the aforementioned record, the South Auckland-based five-piece have conjured a new video for the title track. Starring Katie Isla Middleton-Tansey in the role of the Patupaiarehe, a Māori spirit, this Bahador Borhani-directed music video is a must listen.
