In the cold of December, Manapart traveled all the way to Moscow, performing their folk-infused nu-metal for the Russian crowd at 16 Tons Club.
In addition to Soulfly-like bounce riffs and the inevitable System of a Down vocal comparison, the band had’s Roots-style performance featured musicians playing instruments including duduk, zurna, shvi, qanun, and various percussion. Check out their lively take on “7th” off their self-titled album.
Manapart will be headed back out on the road for a 10-date tour across Russia this April.
