Japanese death/doom group Coffins will be releasing their fifth LP titled Beyond The Circular Demise on September 20 via Relapse Records. This will be their first full-length release since The Fleshlands album in 2013, yet the band churned out seven splits, a couple EPs, and a compilation since.
While it’s over a month until the full release, you can now get a sneak peek of the material as Coffins has just unveiled the track “Forgotten Cemetery.” The piece demonstrates the dynamics of the genre as the monstrous doom-laden passages are disrupted by ravenous death metal sections.
