Japanese doom/death act Coffins will be dropping their fifth full-length LP Beyond the Circular Demise this month via Relapse Records. The band had already released “Forgotten Cemetery” off the album, yet are putting out another track titled “Terminate By Own Prophecy.”
The song is fueled by distorted and fuzzy, fast-paced riffs that pair with vocalist Jun Tokita’s deep growls. Halfway through, Coffins locks into a righteous groove before gradually shifting back to their chaotic, death metal tempo making for a dynamic and heavy piece.
