Last year, we covered Chinese slam/technical deathcore act Wanton Slaughter with their debut and self-titled single. I recall being quite impressed by their ability to spice up the deathcore subgenre with jazzy and extreme moments, allowing for an overall dynamic piece.
Their new single titled “Bloody Waltz” expands on the progressive elements previously showcased with a synthy intro and outro in the realm of Born of Osiris or The Faceless. The single also keeps you on your toes with plenty of zesty guitar leads and guest vocals by Luke Griffin of Acrania. Check it out below.
