Takatak is a progressive metalcore/djent act based in Lahore, Pakistan. The band has quite the large lineup with Ali Suhail (vocals), Altamash Sever (vocals), Luke Azariah (guitar/synth), Zain Peerzada (guitar), Isa Najam (bass), Yusuf Ramay (drums), and Daud Ramay (drums). Two vocalists as well as two drummers packs quite the punch! And on top of all that, this new single hosts guest spots for guitarists Keshav Dhar (Skyharbor) and Shamsher Rana.
They will be releasing their debut full-length album Acrophase later this year, which was mastered by Australian engineer/producer Ermin Hamidovic, who has worked with Plini, Periphery, Ola Englund, and more. Metal Injection just premiered the debut single off the upcoming LP, which you can view below. “Fault Lines” boasts both intense moments of djenty grooves and awe-inspiring vocal melodies. You’ll definitely want to keep your eye on this project if you’re a fan of Northlane or Volumes.
