From Kyiv in Ukraine, Chasing Embers is a proggy alternative/folk metal band. Last year, they dropped their album titled Beckoning Call, which showed off the group’s style of alt-metal meeting folksy percussion and graceful female vocals.
To continue the hype of the previously released LP, they have now put out a music video for the single “Spiritual.” With smooth Jinjer-like vocals and an occasional proggressive Tool-esque riff or drum beat, the band are clear evidence of a healthy Ukranian metal scene. Check out the video below.
