Set for the Sky is an alternative/metalcore act based in Cape Town, South Africa. Their lineup holds James Roberts, Alex von Gossler, Trent Richardson, and Jeandre Viljoen. They dropped their album, The Machine, back in 2015, but have just put out a new single.
“Reanimate” takes a synth-driven and melodic approach similar to I See Stars or Enter Shikari, yet occasionally twists in some harsh vocals and dynamic breakdowns for a harder edge. Check out the lyric video for the single below.
