From Timisoara in Romania, Kultika is a post-metal group consisting of Jack Popescu (vocals, guitar), Fulmineos (guitar), Marcel Iovanov (bass), Marius Muntean (keys), and Sergiu Nădăban (drums). They began in 2008 as a black metal project, but transitioned now to a mix of progressive, post-rock, doom, sludge, and more.
The band will be releasing their second full album Capricorn Wolves this year via Loud Rage Music. In the meantime, you can hear their single titled “Building Nothingness Inside Faith,” which harkens back to the dynamic days of Isis mixed with some modern progginess.
