One of the best metal fusion acts to emerge from Asia is the beloved Mongolian heavy folk project The Hu. Recently, they’ve revamped last year’s acclaimed Rumble of Thunder record with a deluxe version now full of guest musicians such as William DuVall of Alice in Chains, System of a Down‘s Serj Tankian and DL from Bad Wolves. Their recent guest feature unveiled alt-pop rock singer-songwriter LP adding vocals to “Mother Nature.”
