After a brief hiatus, Japanese alt metal act Crossfaith have returned with not only a new single, but also a new official guitarist. Daiki Koide had previously supported the band on tour, but the ex-Her Name in Blood guitarist is now an official member: “Back when my own band broke up, I was struggling and seriously thought that I should stop pursuing a music career. However, Crossfaith reached out to me and brought me back on the stage… I am very excited to be able to express myself through music again.”
Daiki is making his Crossfaith debut in the new single titled “ZERO.” As usual, the group expands the parameters of genre fusion with an industrial sound taking the limelight of their punk-electronic-metal identity. Fans of Enter Shikari or Bring Me the Horizon should enjoy the video for the latest offering, directed by Takasuke Kato.
