NEST OF PLAGUES [Hungary] Conquer OCD and Social Anxiety in Groove Death Rager “Suffer Together”

A half decade ago, Daniel Ivanics was “ diagnosed with OCD, i.e. obsessive compulsive disorder.” As an outlet, the vocalist / bassist has written about his experiences with the disorder in the Hungarian metal band Nest of Plagues.

On the Budapest-based melodic death / metalcore project’s To Kill a God album, Daniel details his struggle, yet on their upcoming record titled Hellsolation, the lyrics dig deeper into the isolation he has experienced. The lead single “Suffer Together” is actually celebratory, bringing a modernized Lamb of God sound to the concept of unity.

The music video was directed by Peter John Kiss.

Nest of Plagues will embark on a tour through Germany, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Czechia, Slovakia, and the Netherlands with Israeli acts Orphaned Land and Structural as well the Swiss group Science of Disorder and Line Survivors from France, in September.
