From Kyiv, Sidus Atrum is a female-fronted blackened death-doom project, comprised of Yulia and Serhii Lykhotvor. Their upcoming third full-length is titled Розірване Небо (Torn Sky) and will release on May 10th via Kvlt und Kaos. “This album is a reflection of our emotions, experiences and thoughts over the past two years since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine began. We want to share it with you and show that war has no place in this world.”
The forthcoming record’s lead single evokes an accessible Behemoth sound and fervor of modern black metal acts alike White Ward or Gaerea.
The music video for “Коли Земля Кричала (When The Earth Was Screaming)” was directed by Oleksii Kyselov, showing the war-affected regions of Hostomel and Irpin.
