Awarded as one of the best folk metal albums, The Hu are proving the worthy impact of their sophomoric release – Rumble of Thunder. The Mongolian heavy throat singers have evolved the album to posthumously include features by System of a Down‘s Serj Tankian, Alice in Chains vocalist William Duvall, and pop rocker LP.
In the latest video, an onslaught of morin khuur, tumur hhuur, tovshuur, and throat-singing riff in harmony for a Tennger Cavalry–Alien Weaponry hybrid groove. The Hu are bringing folk metal people-movers like “Mosoo Huh Mongol” (translated to Upright Destined Mongol”) on their current tour with rock weirdos Solence through Europe, as well as the US alongside Iron Maiden and gothcore newcomers The Funeral Portrait.
