“Blackened Sky” by NEST OF PLAGUES [Hungary] – Vent and Have a Paint Fight with Groove-Metalcore

From Budapest, Nest of Plagues has just released their new album Hellsolation. Frontman Dániel Ivanics (Akela) commands the groovy metalcore four-piece through eleven dynamic tracks, as if Upon a Burning Body had a cage fight with Lamb of God or Amon Amarth. The sound is perfect for both 90’s metalheads and modern newcomers to the genre.

“Blackened Sky,” the opener, warms up with shovel-sharp riffs and militaristic persuasion. In the music video for the single, all members including guitarists Evelin Kövecses and Máté Breier as well as drummer Balázs Fűr get doused in paint.
