Enter the Paranormal Freudian Nightmare of Hungarian Industrial Death Metal Project SCARECROW

“The shadow is the greatest teacher for how to come to the light”

Inspired by modern spiritual icon Ram Dass, a Hungarian one-man industrial death metal project explores a vulnerable, psychological rabbit hole. After the split-up of Nagykanizsa-based black metal act Diabolic Storm, frontman Sipos Balázs Simon created Scarecr0w to delve into concepts of his inner child and abuse on albums including Elaboration and the more recent Traumatized.

The track “Unseen” is about self-isolation, but acts more-so as a transparent exposé of Sipos’ trauma-based depression struggles. With the drama of early Korn, yet the intensity of Anaal Nathrakh or Behemoth, the accompanying new music video is chock full of unnerving Clive Barker-like visuals.
