Based out of the Bangalore and Pune regions of India, Lotus is a project fusing prog metal and modern rock. Recently finishing a tour with death metallers Gutslit, the group’s current lineup includes vocalist Aman Virdi (Bhayanak Maut, Noiseware), guitarist Bob Alex (Noiseware, aswekeepsearching), bassist Shubhrayu De (Dark Helm), guitarist Siddharth Amarnath, and drummer Abhishek Mujumdar.
Soaked in emotion and suspense, new single “Share a Piece” shines with an alternative Incubus-like accessibility, while also channeling contemporary prog acts Wheel or Soen. Released through No Binary Records as well as Oaf Records, the touching single’s video was created by Chinmay Patkar (Arrows).
