This Indian Post-Hardcore Group is if BRING ME THE HORIZON & TURNSTILE Went Full Shoegaze

Featuring aerialist-performer Ishaan Bharat Osheen spinning on a suspended hoop, “Marionettes” by Cvrses is a neon video with blissful tones adjacent to the shoegaze-era of Hundredth and alt-pop side of Linkin Park or Bring Me the Horizon. It’s admittedly not metal, but more-so a sadder, reverb-laden cousin of metal.

The Pune-based five-piece consists of vocalist Brendon D’Souza (aka Ren …the Indian version, not the Welsh one), guitatists Nikhil Shrestha and Mikhail Khan as well as bassist / keyboardist Aryan and drummer Armando Khan, representing the heaviest Indian alternative-pop.

“Marionettes” is the finale off Cvrses‘ three-track EP titled Heart Decay, squeezing out the catchy atmospheres of Turnstile, Erra, and Time the Valuator.
