Eximperitus for short, the Minsk-based duo of vocalist Paweł Nałęcki and instrumentalist Siarhei Liakh (both involved in Relics of Humanity and Ominous Scriptures) are creating true blasphemy – musically and thematically.

The band name apparently is a term mixing Latin, Ancient Egyptian, Akkadian and Sumerian language, which if spoken in a certain rhythm will cast a magic spell bringing forth Lords of the Darkness. Their recently released album – Meritoriousness of Equanimity – has most peculiar blend of technical death metal, progressive atmospheres, and ridiculously long song names. Davide Billia (Beheaded, ex-Hour of Penance, ex-Putridity) provided drumming on the record.
“Contemplation of the Plastic Fibers of Perfection at the Second Level of Reality” is an existential spiral of Cryptopsy and Necrophagist energy, where other tracks bring in the complexities of Gorguts, Decrepit Birth, or Behemoth.
It seems that the longest song title is “Molecular Disintegration of an Unattainable Solitary Will in a Vessel of Wisdom…as a Result of the Soul’s Aspiration to Break the Summed Up Set of Delusions of Reason… in the Course of a Personal Experience of Accepting the Imperfection of the World and Proving that Time Gets Rid of the Fragile and Leaves Invulnerable,” boasting a dramatic, atmospheric Pink Floyd guitar solo, perfectly wedged in an album of intensity to allow for that Blood Incantationesque variety.
