Last year, Puerto Rican progressive rock/metal band Avandra released their album Descender, which we highly praised in our review as well as included in our favorite albums list. Just recently, the band put out a new music video for the opener off that LP.
“Beyond the Threshold Part 1: (Helios Awakens)” is definitely one of the more alluring tracks on the album, so I’m happy that it is receiving more exposure through a video. I’ve made the comparison before and it still rings true, so check out the Porcupine Tree meets Dream Theater song below.
