Last year, the Chinese metalcore group Life Awaits put out their LP titled Fluorescent via Famined Records. The melodic and ethereal style added to their metalcore foundation made for a unique listening experience and was therefore mentioned in our favorite albums of 2019 list.
More recently, they released a music video for the track “Ink.” The song showcases the band’s more emotionally vulnerable side and features guest vocalist Lu Zhao. Check out the video below.
