A couple years ago, a monumental collaborative album titled mass recall was released by the Chisinau-based act and all i can say is. Each of the five tracks drip in djenty thall vigor and include featured guests Dark Structure (Moldova), Tulpas (Oregon, US), Nemertines (Russia), Harmasar (Moldova), Under Red Skies (Illinois, US), Path of Giants (Colorado, US), Olympus Lenticular (Wisconsin, US), Ascera (Turkey), Coldblood Supplicant (Kentucky, US), and The Realm. The frosting on top? Legendary thall-pioneer Buster (Vildhjarta, Humanity’s Last Breath, Thrown) is on mixing and mastering duties.
Short, sweet, and effective. In less than ten minutes, mass recall summons new territories of heaviness. Gabriella Bulgaru stands out for her inclusion of the mandolin, violin, and synths, but other outside instrumentation appears, including Pavel Ungureanu’s pan flute cameo, Алексей Сорокин on cello, and Mocan Mihai playing contrabass.
Given the scope of the guests featured, I can only imagine how impossible an onstage performance could be, nonetheless, I’d love to witness the moving swarm of a crowd on tracks like “Hostile Contact” or “Temple of the Preservers.” You can now enjoy and all I can say is‘ full thall-filled performance of mass recall, edited by MADS.
