Do you recognize the name Catherine Anne Leone? Also known as Leather Leone, the vocalist gained fame decades ago in American heavy metal groups such as Rude Girl and Chastain, as well as her stint in The Sledge/Leather Project. Bridging the gap between 80’s and modern metalheads, Leather has teamed up with one of the finest Brazilian death-thrash acts.
Late last year, Torture Squad dropped their ninth full-length titled Devilish. You can watch the music video for the fourth track “Warrior,” which shows Leather sharing the mic with vocalist Mayara Puertas, along with performances by jiu jiutsu fighters Luciana Oliveira Santana, Camilo dos Anjos Gomesan, and Fernando Silveira.
