As if their mere existence wasn’t enough of a political statement, Confess – who found asylum in Norway after being sentenced to jail and lashing in their home country of Iran for performing political metal music – are shining a supportive light on the anti-hijab movement Woman, Life, Freedom.
You can witness footage of the violent protests that broke out during the aforementioned movement, enraged by the murder of 22-year-old Iranian woman Jina Amini, in the new video for Confess‘ “Expedition.” The single continues their collaboration with Nile drummer extraordinaire George Kollias, resulting in a Slipknot–Cannibal Corpse–Lamb of God hybrid.
The upcoming album Destination Addiction will release on January 31st, 2025.
