With the modern heaviness of Jinjer and drama of Cradle of Filth, breakout project Olya Manevskaya represents a peculiar, metallic sound of Siberia. Olya is joined by Oleg Izotov on the new, exploratory single “From Ancient Times to the Present Day.”
Thematically dripping in regional myths, legends, and lore, the single is an homage to the historical city of Novosibirsk, with references to ghosts, shamans, treasure, and an underground city.
