Thai alternative/nu-metalcore act Defying Decay dropped their LP Metamorphosis last year, which landed on our favorite albums of the year. Their lineup currently holds Jay Euarchukiati (vocals, guitar, synths, programming), Song Chitipat (guitar, backing vocals), Pon Ujjin (guitar, backing vocals), Pleng Thongboonma (bass), Jennie Natanich (keys, synths), Bunn Bnn (turntables, samples), and Mark Mironov (drums, backing vocals). I personally saw them live at a show last year during their US tour with Betraying the Martyrs, Entheos, Within Destruction, and Sentinels.
Earlier this year though, the band performed in Japan and filmed for a live video of “Yellow Fever.” You can check out the group harness early Deftones energy combined with footage in Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka below.
